由国际隐形眼镜教育者学会(IACLE)主办的第2届世界隐形眼镜教育大会将于2000年5月29日至6月4日在加拿大滑铁卢大学召开，届时来自世界各国的隐形眼镜教育者和从事隐形眼镜临床和研究工作的专业人员将出席这次会议，交流心得，展望未来。由设在温州医学院卫生部视光学研究中心的IACLE中国办公室组织，来自温州医学院、中山医科大学、天津医科大学、华西医科大学、上海医科大学等5所开展规范隐形眼镜教育的高等医科院校的5名骨干教师将代表中国隐形眼镜教育界赴加拿大出席本次大会。
