Expression of adhesive molecules in tissues and peripheral lymphocyte of patients with ulcerative colitis

Abstract
AIM To study the expression of adhesive molecules in tissues and peripheral lymphocyte of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC).
METHODS CD44，CD54 and CD62 p were assessed by using flow cytometry in 34 UC patients and 20 healthy volunteers.
RESULTS CD44 (20.3%±8.2%, 19.4%±6.3%), CD62p (5.3%±2.6%) and CD54 (18.3%±5.9%) in tissues and blood were increased significantly in UC patients as compared with normal controls (9.7%±4.6% ......
