    Abstract

    AIM To observe the effect of low density lipoprotein and calcium antagonists on the proliferation, HA and collagen synthesis of fat-storing cells (FSCs).

    METHODS In this study, the effect of low density lipoprotein (LDL) and calcium antafonists-Nicardipine (Nic) and Verapamil (Ver) and the combination of them on the proliferation, HA and collagen synthesis of fat-storing cells (FSCs) were determined by MTT colorimetric assay, hyaluronic acid radioimmunoassay and ³H-proline incorporation assay were used to determine the effects of above factors. ......
