    AbstractAIM:To explore and investigate the experience of early diagnosis andtreatment with multiple primary malignant tumors in the elderly.

    METHODS:Fifty-ninecases of PMPTs patients admitted to our hospital in the period of 1980 to2002 were studied retrospectively, including early dignosis, the 5-and10-year survival rates in first and second cancer after endoscopic mucosalresection, resection and radiotherapy, the interval time betweensequential tumors and proper treatment. ......
