The 1st "Roche Asian forum for oncology" opens in
The first "Roche Asian Forum of Oncology" was held recently in Shanghai. Professor Sun Yan, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Deputy Chairman of Asian Association of Clinical Oncology chaired the meeting. A number of internationally well known oncologist were invited to present papers on special topics and more than 600 oncologists from the Asian region attended the conference. "The innovated methods of tumor treatment" was the main topic of the meeting. Achievements of research on breast cancer, rectum and colon, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma etc. were investigated; many clinical data were for the first time openly presented. In the forum, Shanghai Roche Co. ltd. announced that the first gene targeted anti-solid tumor medicine trastuzumab(Herceptin) has already been formally approved by the SDA for treatment of Her2 positive metastatic breast cancer., 百拇医药
