Ext.8404Evaluation of efficacy and safety of injective ambroxol hydrochloride

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of injective ambroxol hydrochloride. METHODS: Clinical experiment was carried out by means of single blind, randomized, paralleled and controlled way. Thirtyª²six patients were divided into experiment group and control group (n=18) randomly. The patients in the experiment group received intravenous injection of mucosolvan, while the patients in the control group received ambroxol hydrochloride, with a dosage of 30 mg bid for 5-7 days each. The clinical efficacy rates and the adverse drug reaction rates were compared. RESULTS: The comprehensive clinical efficacy rates of the two groups were 89% and 94%, respectively. The adverse drug reaction rates of the experiment group and control group were 11% and 6%, respectively. There were no statistical difference in clinical efficacy and adverse drug reaction between two groups. CONCLUSION: Injective ambroxol hydrochloride is an effective and safe expectorant. ......
