Abstract The electrochemical polymerization of azure at glassy carbon electrode in phosphate buffer solution and
the properties of the polymerization films have been studied. The poly(azure Ⅰ) modified electrode exhibits three
peaks over the potential range of + 0. 8~ - 0. 8 V ( vs .AgP AgCl) . The peak potentials are Ep

= + 0. 123 V , Ep

= - 0. 432 V and Ep
