    【Abstract】 AIM: To analyze the frequency of Fg Bβ148(C→T)polymorphism in 77 patients with cerebrovascular disease. METHODS: Gene polymorphism of Fg Bβ148(C→T) was analyzed by PCR and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP). RESULTS: The overall allele frequency of Fg Bβ T148 (C148) was 0.636 (0.364). CONCLUSION: The T/T genotype of Fg Bβ148(C→T)gene is related with carotid atherosclerosis and the level of Fg.
