    【Abstract】 AIM: To explore the effect of bifidobacteria DNA containing unmethylated CpG motifs (CpG DNA) on the maturation of bone marrowderived dendritic cells (BMDC). METHODS: The genomic DNA of bifidobacteria was extracted and purified, and the methylated degree of CpG motifs was tested. Cell phenotypes and antigens uptake of BMDC were analyzed by flow cytometry. The levels of IL6, IL12(p40) and TNFα were detected by ELISA and T cell proliferation was detected by 3HTdR incorportation test. RESULTS: Treated with bifidobacteria DNA for 24 h, BMDC expressed a high level of Ia, CD40, CD86 and CD11c molecules, significantly increased the secretion of IL6, IL12 (p40) and TNFα and significantly enhanced the pro ......
