    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To theoretically explore the forecasting of combat stress reaction (CSR) losses in future highª²technology local warfare. METHODS: In this study, the methods of literature review and data collecting were used to obtain the latest information in this field. Combining literature analysis and theories of medical losses, we used both qualitative and quantitative methods to forecast the occurrence of CSR and the losses caused by it. RESULTS: In the future battlefield, armed forces would be facing more difficult tasks and more tough surroundings. Serious CSR casualties would result. The forecasting pattern of CSR losses was established based on the analysis of the main factors that influence CSR casualties. CONCLUSION: The results not only have some theoretic values but also provide some theoretical evidences and technologic support for the psychological health service in future wartime. ......
