    Abstract:The multi-focal electroretinography(mERG)is a new technique to evaluate objectively the visual function and characterized by observing the function change in focal retina quantitatively.The recording condition is very rigorous and the relative position between the eye and stimuli field must be kept to obtain accurate results.In experiments，the albino Sprague-Dawley rats were kept on a special platform，which can be moved in three dimensions，and the distance between the tested eye and CRT were controlled by a self made appa-ratus.A silver chloride loop electrode was contacted with corneal limbus as recording electrode.The waveforms of dark-adapted mERG in albino rats were stable ......
