     Changes of urinary β2MG, NAG and γGT levels in patients with renal calculus and the clinical significance

    ABSTRACT: Objective To study the changes of urinary β2microglodulin (β2MG), NacetylβDglucosaminidase(NAG)and γglutamyltransferase(γGT) levels in patients with renal calculus and the clinical significance. Methods Urinary β2MG and NAG, γGT levels in 30 cases of renal calculus and 30 healthy volunteers were determined by radioimmunoassay and biochemical spectrophotometric analysis, respectively. Results Urinary β2MG、 NAG and γGT levels in the controls were lower than in the renal calculus patients(P<0.05). Conclusion These results are the initial demonstration that urinary β2MG and NAG, γGT levels of these patients increase with renal calculogenesis, which suggests that the pathway is related to renal dysfunction. ......
