QTc dispertion test in elderly patients with acute ischemic strokeREN Bin，ZHANG Xin-lin

Abstract:Objective To study the change of QTc dispersion(QTcd)in elderly patients with acute ischemic stroke.Methods QTcd was measured on simultaneous12-lead ECGs in72elderly patients with acute ischemic stroke and72normal controls.The results were compared between the groups.Result QTcd was higher in elderly patients with stroke than in nor-mal controls(P<0.01).Conclusion QTcd serves as an indicator for monitoring electrocardiogram in elderly patients with acute ischemic stroke.
