Effect of Guanxintongmai Capsule on therapeutic outcome and quality of life in CHD patients with angina pectoris

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To observe the therapeutic effect and quality of life in CHD patients with angina pectoris after taking Guanxintongmai Capsule. METHODS: A total of 207 patients with angina pectoris were randomly divided into 2 groups: the treatment group (n=105) treated with Guanxintongmai Capsule, 4 pieces, tid¡Á4 weeks, and the control group (n=102) treated with Di¬ðao Xinxuekang Capsule, 2 pieces, tid¡Á4 weeks. RESULTS: The total effective rate was 83.8% in the treatment group and 71.6% in the control group (P<0.05). The qualityª²ofª²life scores in both groups decreased, but the scores in the treatment group were superior to those in the control group (P<0.01, 0.05). CONCLUSION: Guanxintongmai Capsule has some good therapeutic effect on myocardial ischemia and can improve the quality of life. ......
