     Signal regulation mechanism of myocardium remodeling in patients with congestive heart failure

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the signal regulation of extra cellular signal regulation kinase (ERK1/2) and calcineurin(CaN)in fetal heart gene of cardiomyocytes in myocardium of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF).METHODS: Thirtynine patients of mitral valve disease with CHF were randomly selected and 30 cases of healthy persons were included as controls.Immunoprecipitation was used to assay the protein expression and phosphorylation of CaN and ERK1/2,and the protein expression of αskeletalactin in myocardial tissues.The mRNA expression of βmyosin heavy chain(β MHC)was measured by RTPCR.RESULTS: The myocardium in patients with CHF showed typical pathological changes of myocardium remodeling.The phosphorylation of CaN,protein expression of ERK1/2,CaN and αactin,and βMHC mRNA expression also increased in myocardial tissues in CHF groups,and were positively correlated to the cardiac function.CONCLUSION: Both CaN and ERK1/2 pathways activate fetal heart gene expression of cardiomyocytes,which may play some important roles in the pathogenesis of myocyte hypertrophy. ......
