     Infection of HBV among high school graduates in 2001-2003 in Xian

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the infection of HBV among high school graduates in 2001-2003 in Xian. METHODS: HbsAg in serum of 19 142 high school graduates from some urban or suburban regions was detected by ELISA. RESULTS: The total positive rate of HBsAg was 3.76%, male higher than female as 4.16% and 3.29% respectively(P<0.05), countryside higher than city as 5.40% and 1.61% respectively(P<0.01)； the positive rates of HBsAg in the 3 years were 4.56%, 3.70% and 2.94% respectively, which had significantly statistic differences (P<0.01). Between every 2 years, the rates also had statistic differences (2001 vs 2002 ......
