     Effects and significance of Chinese medicine Huxinling on endotheliumderived factors and ischemiamodified albumin of experimental cardiac ischemia rats

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the effects and significance of Chinese medicine Huxingling on ET, TXB2, NO, 6KetoPGF1a and ischemiamodified albumin (IMA) of experimental cardiac ischemia rats after ischemia reperfusion. METHODS: Forty Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups (n=10 in each group): sham operation group, sodium chloride group, compound Danshen group and Huxinling group. After 10 d of consecutive intragastric administration, the left main coronary trunk was ligated in all groups except sham operation group to establish experimental cardiac ischemia model to detect and compare the concents of ET, TXB2, NO, 6KetoPGF1a and IMA following reperfusion. RESULTS: The concentrations of ET, TXB2, TXB2/6KetoPGF1a and IMA of sodium chloride group, compound Danshen group and Huxinling group were all significantly higher than those of sham operation group after ischemia/reperfusion. At the same time , NO and 6KetoPGF1a in these 3 groups were significantly lower than those in sham operation group(P<0.05). The concentrations of ET, TXB2, TXB2/6KetoPGF1a and IMA of compound Danshen group and Huxinling group were significantly lower than those of sodium chloride group, but ones of NO and 6KetoPGF1a were higher than those of sodium chloride group(P<0.05, P<0.01). CONCLUSION: Compound Danshen and Huxinling can elevate the concentrations of NO and 6KetoPGF1a in acute cardiac ischemia rats and reduce the levels of ET, TXB2. They have protective effects on ischemic cardiac muscle of rats and Huxinling is more effective than compound Danshen. ......
