Abstract
AIM: To study the efficacy of Shenmai injection combined with Gegengsu injection in the prevention of liver fibrosis.
METHODS:A total of 50 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. One served as the control group, and only treated by routine methods. The other group received Shenmai and Gegengsu injection based on routine treatment. The liver function and fibrosis indexes were detected before and after treatment.
RESULTS:The overall efficacy rate was significantly higher in the experiment group than that in the control group (82.1% vs 59.1%,P < 0.05), and liver function was also improved. The fibrosis indexes (mg/L) such as hyaluronic acid, type Ⅲ procollagen, type Ⅳ collagen, and laminin were significantly down-regulated in the experiment group in comparison with those in the control group (231 ......
