     The band corresponding to spliced MER3 RNA was incorrectly identified in Figure 5. Based on the corrected figure (shown above), only 4.3% of the MER3 RNA is spliced in the snu17 strain; however, when Mer1p is expressed, 27.1% of the MER3 RNA is spliced. Thus, Snu17p is needed for the Mer1p-activated splicing of AMA1 and MER2, but not MER3. The authors regret the error.(Marc Spingola, Javier Armisen and Manuel)
