Not long ago, Tangdu Hospital of the fourth Military Medical University and a company in Shen Zhen jointly invested more than 60 million yuan for the introduction of the advanced US positive electron emission tomography (PET) and γ knife system and they had already been put into use. The establishment of this center is a kind of exploration with the joint effort of the hospital and an enterprise for mutual sharing of resources, and complementation of the superiority. It is also a new pattern of economic cooperation and development spanning across the areas of economic cooperation.
