    [Abstract] Objective To investigate the relationship between U ric Acid(UA) level and the severity of Idiopathic Pulmonary Artery Hypertension( IPAH). Methods 67 patients with IPAH had a measurement of UA and an ass essment of NYHA, then the right heart catheterization were carried out on the pa tients. The relations between UA and Laboratory results, UA and hemodynamic para meters, UA and NYHA class were assessed. The treatment group of 30 healthy volun teers are compared with the control subjects.ResultsUA increased significantly in patients with IPAH ascompared by control subjects (405.21±130.12μmol/L versus 344.02±96.12μm ol/L ......
