    目前，激素诱导犬BPH模型和大鼠BPH模型适合于研究该病的发病机制和药物疗效。由于大鼠广泛应用于前列腺炎模型的制备，所以实验研究前列腺增生合并前列腺炎时，制作模型的动物以大鼠为宜。
