    The relationship between the stomach cancer distribution and the outcrop of the tertiary system in China

    Abstract

    AIMS To verify the mean outcropped tertiary system stratum with high incidence of stomach cancer.

    METHODS We calculated the percentage of areas where tertiary system out ropped in all provinces and the percentage of sediments coming from the outcropped stratum in various alluvial plain. We compared the atlas of stomach cancer mortality rate with the geological map. The correlation between the percentage and the mortality rate of stomach cancer was studied. ......
