    Effects of Cordyceps polysaccharides in patients with chronic hepatitis C

    Abstract

    AIM To evaluate the therapeutic effects of Cordyceps polysaccharides (CP) in chronic hepatic C.

    METHODS Twenty-one patients with chronic hepatic C were treated with CP(45mL/d) for 3 months. Peripheral blood CD₃, CD₄, CD₈ and NK activity were tested before and after the therapy, by using immune indirect fluorescein-flow cytometry and LDH release assay, serum HA, PⅢP and C-Ⅳ were examined before and after the trearapy, by using RIA and ELIZA. ......
