The expression of platelet-derived growth factor and angiogenesis in human colorectal carcinoma

Abstract
AIM To study the angiogenesis and PDGF expression in the colorectal carcinoma and to evaluate its clinical and pathological significance.
METHODS Specimens of 45 colorectal carcinomas and 10 normal intestinal tissues were examined for PDGF expression and microvessel density by immunohistochemical staining, using antibody to PDGF and anti-Ⅷ factor related antigen antibody, the MVD staining results were analyzed by computer-aided image analysis system. ......
