Biological effects of senna extract on human intestinal epithelial cells

Abstract
AIM To investigate the biological effect of senna extract on human intestinal epithelial cells in vitro.
METHODS Human intestinal epithelial cells were cultured in the existence of senna extract. Growth curves were drawn according to results of MTT colorimetry; the cell cycle was analysed by flow cytometry and morphological changes were observed under light and electron microscopy. ......
