Abstract
AIM To invetstigate the expression and significance of HLA -DR antigen and heat shock protein70 (HSP70) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
METHODS HLA-DR antigen and HSP70 were determined in specimens of 44 cases of HCC and tumor-surrounding tissues by immunohistochemistry.
RESULTS HLA-DR antigen was not detected in hepatocytes tumor- surrounding tissues. The positive rates of HLA-DR antigen was 43% in tumor cel ls of HCC. The positive rate of HSP70 in HCC was higher than that in tumor-surr ounding tissues (68% vs 27% ......
