摘要为观察胃癌及癌前病变组织中的端粒状态及其与该类肿瘤发生发展的关系，以琼脂糖DNA直接杂交技术检测16例早期胃癌、52例进展期胃癌、26例胃粘膜肠化及67例异型增生组织中端粒限制性片段(TRF)的长度。发现胃癌及癌前病变组织中的平均TRF长度均比相应正常胃组织缩短。其中胃癌有15例TRF缩短，6例TRF延长，癌前病变中有22例TRF缩短，12例TRF延长。且TRF的这种变化与胃癌的阶段及癌前病变的程度相一致。结果表明，端粒长度改变可能是反映胃粘膜细胞癌变及胃癌进展的一个重要生物学标志。

    Abstract The lengths of telomeric restriction fragments(TRF) in16 cases with early gastric cancer, 52 with advanced gastric cancer, 26 with intestinal metaplasia, 67 with atypical hyperplasia and adjacent normal tissues were analysed byhybridization of nucleic acids directly in agarose gels. Significant reductions in meantelomeric lengths were observed in all gastric carcinomas and precancerosis excluding mildatypical hyperplasia tissues when compared to normal gastric tissues.15 TRF reduced and 6TRF elongated in all cancer tissues, and 22 TRF deleted and 12 TRF prolonged in allprecancerosis tissues. Alterations of TRF length were in line with cancer stage andprecancerosis grade. The results indicated that telomeric abnormal status may be one ofimportant biologic markers of gastric precancerosis toward malignant transformation andcancerous progression.
