【摘要】 目的 比较椎间盘镜手术(MED)与开放手术治疗老年性腰椎间盘突出症的疗效。 方法 采用回顾性分析方法，对31例老年性腰椎间盘突出症患者行MED手术和37例行开放手术患者进行比较研究。 结果 MED组优良率为90.0%，开放手术组优良率为89.2%，统计学上差异无显著性。而手术时间和术中出血量，统计学差异有显著性。 结论 两种方法疗效相近，但MED组手术时间和术中出血量高于开放手术组，MED不应作为老年性腰椎间盘突出症的首选方法。
