Review of the development of cataplasma

Abstract:Objective To review the development of cataplasma.Methods The paper summarizes the basic conception,technics and quality evaluation etc of cataplasma based on present reports. Result and Conclusion Cataplasma is a kind of adhesive patch which is widely used in the treatment of various types of pain and bone diseases,such as arthritis, omodynia,arthralgia,neuralgia and cancer.Compared to traditional preparations including plaster and ointment, cataplasma is more popular and comfortable for its excellent quality.Now a number of products are commercially available in the market.The development of cataplasma is progressing rapidly in China and cataplasma is a very promising preparation.
