【摘要】 本文综述了近年来何首乌化学成分、药理作用、临床应用的研究进展，查阅了近10年来国内外有关何首乌的成分、药理、临床及不良反应研究的文献，进行分析、总结。发现近年对何首乌的研究比较深入，从何首乌的乙酸乙酯不溶部分及制何首乌的正丁醇萃取部分中各发现了两种新化合物单体。在药理学方面，何首乌不但有抗衰老、提高免疫力、降血脂、心血管保护等作用，还有神经元保护、抗皮肤脂质过氧化的作用，临床除常用于治疗高脂血症，还可用于治疗老年体衰、动脉硬化、血管性痴呆、脱发及皮肤瘙痒等症。何首乌的主要不良反应为肝损害。可见，何首乌作为一味传统中药，有着很大的开发价值，尤其是在降血脂和抗衰老方面，应作进一步的研究和应用。在对何首乌进行研发的过程中，应对其不良反应予以足够的重视。

    【Abstract】 The paper is to review the progress in the study of chemical ingredients，pharmacological effect and clinical application of polygonum multiflorum thunb.The documents of experimental and clinical study on P.multiflo-rum in recent10years were consulted and summarized.In phytochemical study，two new compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate insoluble fraction of the roots of P.multiflorum，and another two new compounds were isolated from the n-BuOH extract.In pharmacological study，P.multiflorum was found to have effects of protecting nerve cell，resisting skin lipid peroxidation.In clinic ......
