新型人工肝MARS治疗慢性重型肝炎7例

     Treatment of chronic liver failure with molecular absorbents recirculating system: a 7case report

    【Abstract】 AIM: To observe the clinical efficiency of molecular absorbents recirculating system (MARS) in treating chronic liver failure (CLF). METHODS: 7 cases of CLF, who had had conventional treatment such as supplying enough calorie, keeping the balance in water, electrolyte and acidbase metabolism, promoting blood circulation in microvessels, inhibiting the replication of hepatic virus and preventing complications, were treated by MARS. RESULTS: There was a statistical difference in the blood bilirubin level before and after the treatment of MARS (420.3±96.48 μmol/L vs 327.34±77.15 μmol/L, P<0.05). However, the difference in ALT, AST, BUN, creatinine, albumin, PT and cholineserase levels before and after the MARS treatment was not obvious. There was no difference in blood cell count and serum electrolyte level before and after the treatment. No severe side effects were observed during the MARS treatment except that one patient had transient myocardial ischemia attack the first time he had MARS treatment. CONCLUSION: The blood bilirubin level in the patient with CLF is significantly and quickly reduced after the combined MARS treatment and conventional treatment, which is impossible only by means of conventional therapy. MARS treatment has little effect on blood cell count and electrolyte level in such patients. It is a safe strategy in the treatment of CLF. ......
