Coª²immunoprecipitation for interactions of three human septin proteins

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To study the interactions of three human septin proteins, septin 1, 2 and 6, and to investigate the working model of the septins in the hepatic carcinoma. METHODS: Full length septin 1, 2 and 6 gene were cloned into the pCMVª²Myc and pCMVª² HA vector respectively and coª²immunoprecipitation experiment in human 293 was used to investigate the interactions of the three septin proteins. RESULTS: Interactions in the septin family were confirmed, including the interactions between septin 1 and septin 2 or septin 6, and the interactions within themselves. CONCLUSION: Septin proteins as a complex may play an important role in the carcinogenesis by regulating cell cycles. ......
