Study on effects of differentiation inducer on adhesion, movement and invasion of chordoma cell line in vitro

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To explore the effects of differentiation inducer (HMBA) on the adhesion, movement and invasion of chordoma cell line (CMª²319) in vitro. METHODS: CMª²319 cell lines were induced by HMBA (2 mmol/L) in vitro, the adhesion of the cells was detected by MTT and the movement and invasion of the cells were detected by Millicell PCF culture system. RESULTS: The adhesion rate of the cell line induced by HMBA reduced 27% and 31%, respectively after 30 min and 90 min culture in vitro. The suppression rate of movement and invasion of CMª²319 induced by HMBA was 65.5% and 69.85%, respectively. CONCLUSION: HMBA has some antiª²invasion effects on the human chordoma cell line (CMª²319). ......
