Therapeutic effect of hyperoxia solution by intravenous infusion on hypoxia in rabbits during oneª²lung ventilation

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To investigate the therapeutic effect of hyperoxia solution (HO) on hypoxia in rabbits during oneª²lung ventilation (OLV). METHODS: Thirty rabbits were randomized into control group (Group C) and hyperª²oxygen group (Group H), with 15 in each group. At 30 min after OLV, rabbits received 100 mL of normal saline (Group C) and 100 mL of hyperª²oxygen liquid (Group H) respectively. pH, PaO2, PaCO2, PvO2, SvO2, SaO2 were recorded before OLV, 30 min after OLV and 10 min after intravenous injection. RESULTS: Compared with the data before OLV, SaO2, PaO2, PvO2, SvO2 were significantly decreased (P<0.01). While PaCO2 significantly increased (P<0.01) at 30 min following OLV in two groups.
