     A mathematical model of inositol phospholipid hydrolyzed by PLC in mouse fibroblasts

    【Abstract】 AIM: To establish a mathematical model of inositol phospholipid hydrolyzed by phospholipase C in mouse fibroblasts. MEHTODS: Based on the cellular signal transduction and the Law of the QuasiSteadyState Approximation, the metabolizability of inositol phospholipid was simulated by making use of mathematical model of differential equations. RESULTS: Differential equations of concentration relations were formulated between inositol phosphate and epidermal growth factor receptor, and the hydrolysable rate was demonstrated in these differential equations. CONCLUSION: This mathematical model describes the biological characteristics and the concentration relations between the key products during the hydrolyzation of inositol phospholipid. The effect of parameters on the mathematical model has been discussed and the consumption of inositol phospholipid by Ras/extracellular signalregulated kinase and phosphatidylinositol 3kinase pathways has been analyzed. ......
