Preliminary experiment on electrical impedance scanning breast imaging system

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To lay basis for the design of the measuring electrode, hardware and imaging algorithm used in EIS Breast Imaging System Electrical Impedance Scanning (EIS), a new technique used in the diagnosis of breast cancer. METHODS: Based on the principle of EIS, we set up a workplace used in signal measurement and analyzed the amplitude and phase of the measuring signal from the human body. RESULTS: The results showed that the measuring electrode, skinª²electrode, contacting impedance, and stimulating frequency all influenced the measured signal. CONCLUSION: We have ascertained the main influencing factors in EIS measurement and laid experimental basis for the design of EIS Breast Imaging System. ......
