Primary insomnia treated with Deanxit tablets combined with Doxepin

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To investigate the therapeutic effect of Deanxit tablets combined with Doxepin in the treatment of primary insomnia. METHODS: One hundred and eighty patients were randomly divided into three groups treatment, Alprazolam and placebo and treated for 12 weeks. We used polysomnography to evaluation the therapeutic effect. RESULTS: ¢Ù In treatment group, the sleep latent period shortened(P<0.01), and the arousal times and period decreased(P<0.01). The total sleep time and sleep efficiency increased obviously (P<0.01). Structural analysis manifested that superficial sleep reduced, obvious in period¢ñ, and deep sleep (periods¢ò and ¢ó) time extended, but the proportion of REM ratio increased (P<0.01). ¢Ú In Alprazolam group, the sleep latent period shortened (P<0.05), and the arousal times and period decreased (P<0.01). The total sleep time prolonged(P<0.01), but sleep efficiency had no changes. Structural analysis manifested that superficial sleep increased, obvious in period¢ò, and deep sleep increased (P<0.01), but REM parameter had no changes. ¢Û In placebo group, we found no changes except for the decrease of sleep latent period. CONCLUSION: Deanxit combined with Doxepin has good therapeutic effect in the treatment of primary insomnia. ......
