Factors affecting nursing safety and countermeasures

    Abstract The nursing safety means that the patients’ freedom from psychological and physical injury, obstacle, disfigurement or death which are illegal during the nursing process when they are accepting the nursing interventions. Based on the broad definition of safety and the development of morden nursing administration, the nursing safety also comprehends nursing implementing safety. Nursing implementing safety includes that no permission of any negative effect and injury occurred during nursing .Nursing safety relates to some factors, such as nursing staff ignoring the law requirement, not careful about the operating rules during the implementing, not paying enough attention to the work responsibility, lack of serving consciousness, out of control of nursing administration and patients not complying with the doctor’s order and so on. To ensure the nursing safety and the nursing quality, it is necessary to establish corresponding clinical countermeasures and comprehensive administration rules, carrying through the quality and process control, teaching and training the nursing staff to comply with the law,and what mentioned above are also the required course of hospital nursing administrators which relates to a hospital’s development. ......
