     Comprehensive analysis of mental health status of povertystriken college students at present age

    【Abstract】 AIM: To understand the mental health status of povertystriken college students at present age. METHODS: The questionnaire was prepared on the basis of SCL90, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, and Defense Style Questionnaire. Some povertystriken college students derived from 4 colleges in Shaanxi province were assessed with the selfprepared Questionnaire and the results were compared with national college students criterion. Synthesized systematic evaluation theorem and methods were used to analyze the results quantitatively. RESULTS: The main psychological indices representing the mental health problems of povertystriken college students at present age were compulsive symptom, interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, and hostility respectively. CONCLUSION: Psychological health status of povertystriken college students at present age is poor. It needs great attention to cultivate their perfect personality, and lead them to take up positive defense styles on their own, which would be of great significance for improving their psychological qualities. ......
