     Expression and correlativity of HCV core,p53, Mdm2 and p14ARF protein in HCV hepatitis and cirrhosis

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate expression of HCV core, mutant p53,Mdm2,p14ARF proteins and correlation of these proteins in the tissues of HCV infection to explore weather HCV core protein promotes expression of p53,Mdm2, p14ARF proteins and their significance.METHODS: Collect tissues of 23 cases with HCV infection and determine the expression of HCV core, mutation p53,Mdm2,p14ARF proteins with immunohistochemical method, using EnVision method; analyze the correlation of these proteins by statistics methods. RESULTS: The positive expression of HCV core , mutation p53,Mdm2 and p14ARF proteins primarily lies in the nucleus; the positive rate of mutation p53,Mdm2 and p14ARF protein expression was respectively 87%,913%,652% in the tissues of HCV core protein positive expression, and so there was significantly difference(P<001) between the four proteins; P value of correlationship test of positive intensity between HCV core and mutation p53, HCV core and Mdm2, HCV core and p14ARF expression was respectively 001,0067 and 072, while the correlation coefficients were respectively 071,0493 and 0053. CONCLUSION: HCV core protein probably promotes wild type p53 to mutation type and mutant expression; HCV core protein together with mutant p53 also probably promotes expression of Mdm2 protein, while the core protein may affect on the expression of p14ARFprotein; HCV core protein together with mutant p53,Mdm2 proteins enhances the proliferation and atypical hyperplasia or transformation of hepatocytes. ......
