摘 要 本文研究了用氯化铁(FeCl3·6H2O)催化苯甲酸和异戊醇的酯化反应，当苯甲酸∶异戊醇＝1∶3(摩尔比)，氯化铁用量1.0 g/0.1 mol苯甲酸，回流分水2.5 h时，酯化率90.3%。关键词 苯甲酸异戊酯；氯化铁；酯化
Study on catalytic synthesis of isoamyl benzoate with ferric chloride

Abstract The catalytic esterification of benzoic acid with isoamyl alcohol in the presence of ferric chloride was studyied. When the molar ratio of benzoic acid to isoamyl alcohol was 1∶3, with ferric chloride of 1.0 g/0.1 mol benzoic acid and the reaction time of 2.5 h, the esterification rate was 90.3%.
