[ABSTRACT]ObjectiveTo explore the determination and its clinical significance of sFas and sIL-2R in serum of patients with malignant tumor. MethodsThe sFas and sIL-2R were measured by ELISA in serum of 52 patients and 20 normal controls. ResultsThe sFas level was significantly higher in the patients than that in the normal controls, which was not related to the tumor types. The level of sIL-2R in the patients was also significantly higher than that in the controls, and was more evident in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. There was a positive correlation between sFas and sIL-2R in patients with tumors. Conclusion The levels of serum sFas and sIL-2R significantly increase in tumor patients, which may explain the genesis of tumors and the mechanism of the escape from the immunosurveillance of tumor cells.

At present it is thought that a malignant tumor is a re-sult of the drop of host immunity function and unusual anti-gen expression of the tumor. Once the tumor cell evades the immunity surveillance ......
