Abstract
A single-channel ECG telemetry system with infrared waves as medium was designed. It can be used to monitor a subject's ECG in real-time, having functions to detect abnormal ECG, to give alarm, to store and to print out information. It is a good attempt to apply infrared telemetry technology to clinical applications.
