    Diabetes Mellitus(DM) is a serious metabolic disorder that affects carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism. Poor blood glucose control is associated with the development of severe end-organ complication and affects secerely living quality, increases mortality and disabling ratio. More and more diabetics patients need nutrition support. We summarize the opportunity, principle, selected formula, and other concerning matters for nutrition support for DM. It is vital that blood glucose control be optimize before enteral or parenteral nutrition support is provided to these patients and that blood glucose and blood biochemistry levels be monitored carefully.

    糖尿病是一种碳水化合物、蛋白、脂肪代谢紊乱的疾病,不良的血糖控制与糖尿病并发症显著相关,并严重影响病人的生命质量而成为致残、致死的主要原因。很多病人在糖尿病治疗中需要进行营养支持,本文对糖尿病病人营养支持的时机、原则、支持方式的选择以及营养过渡中需要注意的问题进行总结,加强血糖及生化指标的监控,防止血糖过高或过低而引起糖尿病急性并发症,利于病人早日康复。, http://www.100md.com
