[摘 要]目的：骨质疏松症是当今国内外医学专家研究的热门课题之一。针灸医学在该病防治方面有很大潜力，总结国内针灸防治骨质疏松症的研究近况，为临床科研提供参考依据和思路。方法：综合相关文献30篇，反映针灸在提高骨质疏松症内分泌性激素水平、调节骨代谢、增加骨密度、缓解疼痛等方面的临床研究和实验研究；论证"肾主骨"理论的科学性。结果：针灸可防治骨质疏松症，补肾健脾是最重要的治法。结论：针灸治疗骨质疏松症前景广阔。
