Chapter 7 The 1001st 第一千零一

    In the campus grounds the bell for the end of class had just rung.

    Asang and Xun were walking side by side. Asang was trying to say something to Xun.

    Asang: ...Xun. I've got something to tell you.

    Xun: Eh! What? Hang on a minute!

    Xun halted. Asang was dumbfounded. A pomegranate tree had appeared before them; a pomegranate tree filled with dense, profuse branches and leaves of a deep green hue.

    Xun: Asang, look, a pomegranate tree!

    Asang (OS): There was a pomegranate tree. However, honestly, until then, I had never noticed it.

    Xun stared stupidly at the pomegranate tree. Then she jumped up, trying to grab some of the overhanging branches, but they were just out of reach. ......
