An Undeserved Reputation

    "It wasn’t my fault. "

    That’s what I tell my peers when they rib me about our colleagues who have gone out riding with me and hurt themselves. It hasn’t gotten to the point that they’ve nicknamed me Dr. Danger(that appellation is reserved for another physician who is a hazardous surfer)， but I’m running out of playmates for my off-road adventures. No one will ride with me anymore， unless they and their wives don’t know my history. They are reassured by the fact that I am a doctor. I’ve never understood the rationality of people feeling that it’s ok to be out taking risks so long as a doctor is around.

    Truth be told， I don’t go fast ......
