综上所述，第1跖趾关节融合术可以明显解除第1跖趾关节骨性关节炎患者的症状，恢复前足功能。术后第1、2跖骨间夹角减小，但是并不一定能使IMA角达到正常的范围以内。术后IMA有缩小的趋势，因此不必再行跖骨截骨以纠正IMA角。
