[Abstract] Objective To study the correlation between the level of serum retinal binding protein 4 (RBP4) and the incidence of acute coronary syndrome. Methods 136 cases of patients with acute coronary syndrome who had typical signs of acute coronary syndrome and diagnosed by coronary angiography were chosen as experiment group (group A), which was divided into low-risk group (50 cases) and high-risk group (86 cases) according to the GRACE system. Meanwhile, 89 cases of patients with atypical chest discomfort who were not diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome by coronary angiography were selected as control group (group B). The level of RBP4, CRP, FBG, HbAlc, TC, LDL-C and blood pressure were measured and compared among the groups. Results The level of RBP4, CRP, FBG, HbAlc, TC, LDL and blood pressure of the group A were statistically significant higher than those of group B (P < 0 ......
